A floor lamp with OLOP sleeve & BLIP add-on and shade

The A lamp embodies a perfect balance of simplicity and precision. Its structural frame is crafted from sustainably sourced ash hardwood, a material that develops a unique patina over time. For optimal balance, the lamp requires a counterweight of your choice,  such as a stack of books, a stone, or a small potted plant.

This version presents a visually striking juxtaposition of materials and forms. Soft OLOP sleeves, cut from off-white felt, are combined with a black BLIP add-on and a matching shade. The design includes four black, recycled-plastic 3D-printed knobs, a wooden knob, and a green textile cable.

Oiled solid ash hardwood (FSC-certified), with integrated metal threaded inserts
Built-in Samsung LED strip (Supreme Series IP20): 30 LEDs/m, 20W, 2700K CCT, CRI 90+, housed in aluminum casing with transparent acrylic cover
Textile cable (2x18 AWG, SVT, 300V, Ø 6.2 mm) 
Single pole foot  switch: 250V rated voltage; 2A resistive load, 1A inductive load, 1A lamp load
Plug-in power supply: 12W, 24V, 0.5A with plastic DC connector (5.5 × 2.1 mm)
Four knobs, 3D-printed from recycled plastic filament
Serrated washers made from biodegradable plastic
Oiled wooden knob
Three OLOP felt sleeves cut out from 6mm off-white natural wool felt 
BLIP cardboard shade and add-on cut from 700g GF Smith’s Colorplan board, fastened with magnetic tape
